The Schuetter Family | Ten Years of Bliss | Annapolis Family Photographer

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

I just love our preschool because it has connected me with so many great families over the years.  The Schuetter family is one of those great families.

Dana contacted me with an idea to have a family session in the beginning of the fall at the USNA Golf Course, here in Annapolis, MD.  We got postponed our first go due to illness, but I’m stoked we finally got to make it happen.

Scott & Dana know, as do parents of young children, that the typical photo session is more like a play date, with a few “posed” shots smattered in the middle of a LOT of playing.  I am so thankful for this knowledge!  If I’m not sweating by the end of a family session, I know I haven’t worked hard enough!

Take a look at Dana & Scott’s celebration of 10 years of marriage & two beautiful children!

Rob & Catherine | United States Naval Academy | Annapolis Engagement Photographer

Friday, April 8th, 2011

Last weekend I met up with Rob & Catherine on a day that couldn’t decide if it wanted to rain or not.  Having just come back from sunny Ethiopia, I wasn’t quite enjoying the Spring Maryland weather, but this Saturday turned out perfectly!  We got hit by a few drops here & there, but overall had a nice, overcast day with almost no squinting – hooray!

Rob & Catherine, enjoy your preview & be sure to send me photos of you wonderful New England wedding – I know they will be stunning!

And ps – Catherine, I totally need you to select my wardrobe!  I loved everything you chose for your photos – truly lovely!

Joe + Jacque = Married!

Friday, May 8th, 2009

It will be two weeks tomorrow since Joe & Jacque became husband and wife…and I’m finally doing their “official” wedding blog!  My wonderful friend Heather agreed to so graciously assist me on this wedding, and I’m so grateful!

Jacque & Joe couldn’t have ordered up a more perfect day for their wedding.  They began their journey at the United States Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland.  If you’ve ever been to a Naval Academy wedding, you know those things move like clockwork!  There’s about 30 minutes for one wedding, they shuffle you out one door as guests for the next wedding shuffle in the next door, and 30 minutes later the next wedding begins!  I have to give huge props to the ladies & gentlemen at the Chapel who make those miracles happen!  Jacque & Joe’s wedding was the first wedding of the day, so luckily we had a bit more restful time before their ceremony began.

Everyone who’s seen her picture nailed it on the head – Jacque is a stunning bride.  She was so sweet and excited to become Joe’s wife.  And Joe!  What a guy!  He just beamed with love for her as she came down the aisle with her father.  They were a wonderful picture to see.  And I’m so glad they let Heather and I share in their day.

Okay…so enough babbling.  Just get to the pictures!  Here are Jacque & Joe…

Jacque & Joe: The Preview

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

My dear friend Heather & I shot an intimate wedding yesterday at the United States Naval Academy Chapel for Jacque & Joe.   Since I’m still working on previous sessions (and laundry, and dishes, and raising children), I’ll give you a quick preview of this fabulous couple!  Check back next week to see their full blog post.

And now, presenting Mr. & Mrs. Parker!
