Hey good lookin’!

Monday, December 14th, 2009

Okay, so when you see these kids’ outfits, you’re gonna say, “OMG! Their momma sure knows how to dress them!”  Well, that’s what I said anyways.  But before I move on to their clothes & their cuteness, & their endless energy, I have to share the funny story their mom told me when I arrived.

Apparently Jennifer had taken  her oldest on one of those buses that takes you to New York City, lets you sight see, and brings you back.  Well, wrong!  Her bus left her, and her son, and a slew of other passengers too!  When things all got sorted out, & she explained what bus she had booked, the other bus people told her, “Oh, you booked that Chinese bus?  Bad idea.  They always leave people behind.”  AHHH!  A bus that is known for leaving people behind in NY City?  That’s crazy!  Needless to say, Jennifer & her son got back early in the morning of our session, and STILL managed to get her kids looking this good, as well as herself.  That’s like super mom talent!

Here’s a little of what we got…

Oh, I almost forgot.  She got these super cute clothes at The Children’s Place.  They were having a darn good sale!

Clara at 3 months

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

Well, it seems that photography season is in full swing.  I started my week with Mark & Jill’s engagment, and then yesterday I photographed the ever adorable Clara, and on Saturday I’ll get to witness Kate & Joey exchange vows as they commit their lives to one another.  (Not to mention the engagements for the next two Sundays, the family sessions coming up, and yada yada ya….)  But I’d like to pause and let you see how much little Clara has grown.

I first met Clara about 3 months ago when she was just a little thang, and she has blossomed and changed so much in such a short time.  She can smile, coo, kick the toys hanging from her play mat, and even produce the pouty lip!  It’s so amazing how children grow and change so quickly.

Clara was a real trooper, too.  When I arrived yesterday she was finishing up a morning bottle and then we put her through about 4 outfits, 2 head bands, one flower pot, and one beach towel…and she took it beautifully, all while looking good at the same time!  Here is little Clara…
