How could I not use a photo from Ella’s newborn session? She is so new baby adorable! I was in LOVE with her glorious head of hair! Congratulations Mike & Sarah!
Last week I was invited out to photograph little Olivia. Now, Olivia is almost 2 months old, but she surprised her mommy & daddy by deciding to come earlier than expected. She is just a petite, dainty little girl. She has this beautiful complexion that reminds me of peaches & cream. And I loved how, even at such a young age, she was already letting me know that we weren’t friends & I better back up out of her business! Gotta love those feisty ones!
Welcome to the world Olivia! I can already tell you are your mommy & daddy’s little princess. (*Oh, and again, don’t forget to give Olivia some blog love via comments. If she gets 20 she earns her parents an 8×10 – who says child labor is wrong??)
Yesterday I got to meet this little darling – Olivia. I couldn’t help but sing the Olivia theme song when I met her, it’s just so catchy. (You know, the cartoon & children’s books with the cute little piggy named Olivia??? Google it.)
Well, this was one tiny sleepy moment we got out of her. I was excited to be able to try out my new blanket from Ikea. I just loved the texture when I saw it in the store & it screamed “BABY” to me immediately. It’s super huge, but stretchy and comfy. I think it worked well! More of Olivia to come later
My dearest childhood friend is having a baby! Her first baby! And a girl baby! Aren’t you as excited as I am?!?!?!?!? Well, you should be!
Her surprise baby shower was today and I sort of went. I was supposed to be there at 3pm, but whatever I ate at 1pm didn’t agree with me, so I left my house almost 45 minutes later than I had hoped! So, I arrived after the surprise (better than ruining it, right?) and got to witness a sea of baby shower cuteness! The baby’s room is decorated in pink, green, and brown, so the hall was decorated in the same manor. Now, being the lazy friend/photographer that I am, I forgot my camera, was late, and didn’t even wrap my Bumbo! But, I showed up!
I snatched a few party favors for my girls & to take photographs of. The cookies are onesies! Aren’t they stinkin’ cute! And the gift boxes say Martha Stewart on the bottom. Whoever coordinated & decorated this shower needs to start their own business!
I cannot wait to meet this little girl, Steph! Been waiting for this day for a loooong time!
(*oh, and in case you were wondering, yes, that is a can of coke on my desk. And yes, the walls in our new office/playroom are Slimer green – it used to be a kid’s room!)
