Brayden – 2 months new | Baltimore Baby Photographer

Wednesday, January 25th, 2012

Most of the infants I photograph are in their first days of life.  And while they are squishy, adorable, and cuddly, they are quite uneventful.  I love newborns (because I don’t have to stay & get them to sleep), but I forgot how fun the other months were too.

I got to photograph little Brayden last week with his lovely parents.  What a bright-eyed little guy!  He was a little wary of me at first, cried some – probably because I kept putting a big black camera in his face – but warmed up after a little nap.  Thanks, Mom & Dad, for having me.  Your little man was an angel!

Devin & Steph | Patterson Park Portrait Photographer

Wednesday, January 11th, 2012

Occasionally I get the photo session that I have to keep under wraps until it can be presented as a gift to a loved one.  That’s the case with Devin & Steph’s session.  They sweetly planned to give their family some photos of themselves for the holidays.  But man, if you know me, keeping secrets is so hard!  Steph let me know recently that I could share their lovely photos.  Yeah – a weight off my shoulders!

We met up in Patterson Park in the autumn and they brought along their sweet dog, Nimbus.  We had a great day, lovely weather, and plenty of pups for Nimbus to make friends with.

Enjoy their photos!

Kelsey & Lauren | Class of 2012 | Broadneck Senior High Photographer

Monday, November 28th, 2011

Whoa!  It has been a LONG time since I blogged.  It seems like the moment after I photographed Kelsey & Lauren’s senior session, the holiday rush smacked me in the face & I’m just now starting to get back up.  So before blogging all those holiday mini sessions, I wanted to share these two wonderful gals!

Kelsey & Lauren are both friends & seniors in my area.  They decided to have a joint senior session, and I loved it!  We chose to split it into two seasons: Autumn & Spring.  These photos are our autumn pics.  And they were so great that I’m super stoked to scout out a location for our spring session next year.  Can’t wait girls!  Enjoy the photos….

The First Look | Second Shooter for Natalie Franke | Cathedral of Mary Our Queen Wedding

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011

First look?  What’s a first look?  Well, according to me, a first look is when the Bride & Groom share a special moment BEFORE the ceremony.  They check out each other’s fancy duds, hug, kiss, cuddle, & get calm before their big commitment.  It can be a very sweet moment.  It’s also a photographer’s dream!  It gives us a special moment with the bride & groom before the flurry of ceremony, family portraits, reception, dancing, dinner, toasts, and on and on and on.  Sometimes, it’s the bride & groom’s only time alone the entire day!

When I got to second shoot with Natalie Franke again, I was thrilled that Farrah & David had decided to have their own first look. Check out Natalie’s blog for some amazing photos of the day.

And now, check out Farrah & David’s first look….
