Digital Images – $500 (all images), $300 (mini), $75 (individually after a $225 print purchase), $15 (add a disc)
Digital images are probably the best investment you can make in modern photography. It allows you to co-own your images along with me. We have dual rights for printing, giving you the flexibility to print when you want, how you want, and with whom. It also gives you the original images in your possession. Meaning, if it’s been a year since your session & I’ve cleared out old galleries, your images won’t be lost in the clean out.

Digital images come in two ways: 1) e-mailed to you or 2) on a high-resolution disc. If you are purchasing a full set of digital images ($500) or a mini set of 5 digital images ($300), you photos will be delivered to you in a customized keepsake case with a professionally printed DVD inside. The images on the disc are at their highest resolution. The only thing you CANNOT do with digital images is sell or lend them to any publications. If this is your desire, please contact me first.
Some quick tips on digitals:
1. Back them up! Whether they are e-mailed to your or you receive them on disc, back them up 3 times. Here are suggestions: e-mail them to someone with a gmail account & have them “archive” the photos. With gmail, you never need to delete anything & you’ll always be able to search for the files. Put them on a thumb drive (and keep that in a safe place). Make a copy of the images on to an external hard drive or another disc (and keep it in a safe place!). Upload them to a photo ordering site (I prefer Mpix.com). While this last solution isn’t permanent, it’ll save the photos for a bit until you can properly back them up.
2. Print them at a reputable place of business. I love Wal-Mart, for certain things. Photos is not one of them – the same thing goes for Target. Places that don’t allow you to choose “matte” or “luster” photos most likely won’t look good. You spent all this money, I spent all this time, get those photos looking their best! As I said before, I recommend Mpix.com to all my digital clients.
3. Facebook. This isn’t a do or don’t, just a word of caution. Facebook is constantly changing their policies on uploading photos. You’ll never see a photo of mine on Facebook without my logo. Why? Because it’s MY photo. Period. With my profile needing to be public, due to my business, my photos are then public too. Facebook now allows people to upload photos in a high-resolution format, which means they can be downloaded in a high-res format as well. People will be able to print YOUR photos. There are numerous applications (Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Target) that also allow “friends” to print photos you are tagged in on their own. Personally, I just prefer that the only person who prints photos of me & my family remain me. That’s my rant.
