Baby makes four | Elkridge Newborn Photographer

Thursday, February 9th, 2012

A little less than 2 weeks ago, I had the joy of photographing another little baby boy!  This little guy – or should I say big guy (9+ pounds) – was welcomed by Mom, Dad, and big sister Elaina in the middle of January.

I love getting to see & interact with newborns, and little boys are such a treat – especially after seeing little girls so much at my house.

And now, the little fella….

Brayden – 2 months new | Baltimore Baby Photographer

Wednesday, January 25th, 2012

Most of the infants I photograph are in their first days of life.  And while they are squishy, adorable, and cuddly, they are quite uneventful.  I love newborns (because I don’t have to stay & get them to sleep), but I forgot how fun the other months were too.

I got to photograph little Brayden last week with his lovely parents.  What a bright-eyed little guy!  He was a little wary of me at first, cried some – probably because I kept putting a big black camera in his face – but warmed up after a little nap.  Thanks, Mom & Dad, for having me.  Your little man was an angel!

Reece | Odenton Newborn Photographer

Tuesday, December 13th, 2011

With all these girls being born lately, Reece was a welcome change.  Now, he did pee on me several times, and even possibly some #2 action as well.  But hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go!

He was such an alert little fella at only 2 weeks old.  Everytime we put him on his tummy, he literally tried to crawl away!  But his awesome hair & sweet baby chunkiness melted my heart!  See, both of my girls had full heads of hair & plenty of rolls to go with it!

Enjoy Reece’s preview!

If y’all can’t tell who Hailey belongs to, then take a look back at her parents here.  She is totally & utterly BOTH Kevin & Jacqui!  This child looks like both of them so much it is uncanny!

Hailey came right after Thanksgiving, much to her momma’s delight!  She was a big girl, but still a little princess.  Thanks so much for letting me cuddle her, shush her & even change her!  Those are the baby things that never get old to this mother’s heart.

Here’s Hailey….

I so wanted this blanket!  Friend’s of Kevin’s parents who live overseas made it for Jacqui’s baby shower.  She & I both agree we need an adult-sized one, ASAP!

I have to share about this shot.  I got Hailey all warm & cozy, laid her on her tummy facing me with her little tushy in the air, and she turned away from me!  I had wrap myself around a crib to get this.  I think that’s why she’s smiling/laughing at me here…little stinker!

And some for the Caps fan!

Emma & Elise | Newborn Twins | Davidsonville Newborn Photographer

Wednesday, October 12th, 2011

Emma & Elise came in to this world a wee bit early…10 weeks early to be exact.  They just couldn’t wait to share the world with their parents & big brother, Max.

Once they both arrived home from the hospital, I finally got to visit them.  They were just wonderful.

I know a lot of times parents of newborns get frustrated or apologize that their children aren’t “cooperative.”  I usually tell them, “If they didn’t cry, I’d be surprised.”  I expect babies to fuss, to whine, to cry, & to HATE having me squish & pose & move them every so often.  It’s what they do.  The final images I show usually are the result of a lot of shushing, rocking, & patience.  So future newborn clients, take note!

And now, meet the new family of five!
