WHOA!  Where did all that time go that I got 3 weeks behind on my 365 photos?  Oh yeah, it’s called the holidays, sickness, parties, and life in general.  Whew!  I am determined, though, to finish this 365 project.  My other 365 counterparts are wrapping up their projects, but I’m a tad behind.  I’m gonna catch you all the way up to day #312 right now!  In no particular order, here they are…

Whew!  Now to catch up another few days!  Thanks for sticking with me!

2010: Image 296 – Origami Christmas Boxes

Wednesday, December 8th, 2010

Today was the second round of my cleanse on my Isagenix total body cleanse system.  So, since I am not eating food today & tomorrow, I needed to keep my hands & my mind busy.  Brooke & I scoured Michael’s this morning for some nice Christmas scrapbooking paper.  I found a blog a while back where a gal showed how to make origami boxes with 12×12 paper.  Ever since then, when I’ve had a smallish type of gift, I’ve made a box for it.  I love these boxes & got a little crafty today by adding my own bows to them!  Wow, I know, you’re impressed!  In case you want to see how to make your own, here’s the link.  My only advice after making so many, leave the top box 12×12 inches, and cut a 3/4″ off the smaller box, not 1 inch like she says in the tutorial.  It makes for a more snug fit.  Have fun!

2010: Image 295 – A new tradition | Gingerbread House

Wednesday, December 8th, 2010

I decided to start a Christmas tradition with the girls of making a gingerbread house.  This was completely & totally a kit, so don’t think I’m amazing or anything.  The only amazing thing I did was keep them from eating all the candy before decorating with it.  They had a blast.  I think we’ll keep the tradition going.

Josh gave me a much needed few hours to myself on Tuesday evening since I had been stuck inside with sick kids for a week.  I went to visit Paper Source & Target.  Ahh…refreshing!

2010: Image 293 – Organic Bloom ornament frames

Sunday, December 5th, 2010

I have many more of these, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise for the people who are going to be receiving them for Christmas.  This is a quick peek at a 2″x3″ ornament frame from The Organic Bloom.  They are a vendor from my home state of Oklahoma that I will soon be working with by offering their gorgeous frames to my clients.  I cannot wait!
