Come on in & get to know me!
Welcome to my life!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I am thrilled to get to know you and connect with you more.
As you probably already know, my name is Mandy. I'm a professional photographer based in a little town called Arnold, Maryland. I have lived here since I was a young child and am happy to be raising my own children in this wonderful area.
I have been capturing the simplicity of life since 2007. I started out assisting other great wedding photographers in the area, and then evolved my own business to specialize in life - families, children, teens, couples, and more.
What to expect...
The majority of my creativity occurs outdoors, in our beautiful little piece of Maryland. I enjoy traveling to nearby Annapolis, Baltimore, and sometimes beyond. More recently, I have set up an in-home studio at my house - thank you, Husband - and also offer timeless, classic indoor portraits.
As a wife and mother myself, I feel the overwhelming desire to preserve and capture every moment of my family's lives. And while professional photos can't be in every person's budget for each major milestone, they do make a wonderful investment in sharing with our future generations.
A typical photo session with me includes anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hrs of my time on-location with you and your family. We can go to a place of significance to you, or I can make suggestions. We can plan a picnic, visit a farm, play in a field, and simply make memories. And while I do believe in capturing images of the entire group looking & smiling (hopefully), I feel that it's those unplanned, simple moments that we didn't mean to create that speak the most to my heart.
About 2-3 weeks after your session, you will have the opportunity to view your images in a private, online gallery. And depending on which photo package you have purchased, you will be able to order prints or make immediate downloads of your digital images.
Don't know what to do after your session? Don't worry! I am here to help. I can walk you through the different images we've created, the goals you have for your new artwork, and ideas & configurations on selecting pieces that will speak to you every time you enter your home.
This wouldn't be a proper "about me" page without thanking YOU for investing in me - in my family, my vision, my dream & my craft. I love what I do and am blessed to be able to do what I love.
