Josh is attempting this with Emma.  She requested to have them off, and then decided it was too scary.  So he has agreed to practice with her daily.  She’s growing up too fast.

Today we took Brooke to the University of Maryland Medical Center for her annual check-up for her CDH repair.  She got the all clear for the next two years!  We won’t see her NICU family until she is five.  We celebrated by bringing donut holes & taking a photo.  Time sure has flown by!

It may appear that I’ve acquired a macro lens, but don’t be fooled!  My lens hasn’t gotten better – this Lite Brite has grown!  This is a huge Lite Brite at the Hands-On House Children’s Museum in Lancaster, PA.  The girls & I drove up today to meet my dad & step-mom for some hang time before school really starts.  We had a blast at this museum – which reminds me I better wash the sun that Emma painted off of my cheek!  Thanks Grandpa & Mimi for having us!

Well, I did it.  I finished my first 5k!  I cannot believe this happened.  It definitely was not me that carried myself through this race.  As Emma said, “Mom, are you gonna be the slowest?”  Well, I wasn’t the fastest by any means, but I finished & that was my goal.  42:25 was my time.   Hey, I can only improve, right?  Thanks for all of the support!
