2010: Image 6 – Make-up

This is not a Neutrogena ad. I decided to go out and buy my very own make up today! My sister-in-law, Laura, showed me how to apply it all (and she’s very good at it) & I tried today to put in on myself. I am needing a head shot for my support letters for Ethiopia, so I thought I better get all prettied up! While Emma was in preschool this morning, Brooke & I sat on the floor of the make up section in Target & scoured over all the endless possibilities, shades, skin tones, lip glosses, etc. We’ve decided I’m extra white white girl shade. It was fun! The lip color was too pink, but nobody screamed or ran away when they saw the rest of it. I think I’ll call this a success. Just a quick girl question: Mascara on the bottom too, or just the top? And eyeliner on the bottom? Thanks friends!

Aw what fun! I put mascara just on the bottom but i would ask Robin (I am sure laura is the same way) her eyes always look amazing and I think she puts it on the bottom. And i just put eyeliner on the bottom I find putting it on top and bottom a little overbearing for me but I know people do do it. Good luck and u will look beautiful no matter what (as u always do)

from one white white girl to another, I put mascara on top then do a 2 second blink. that usually puts just enough on the bottom. with light skin and hair, I find putting mascara and eyeliner on the bottom makes me LOOK like I have make up on, instead of the natural look
this post reminds me that I really need to do the same thing. embarrassingly enough, I still use some of the make up I wore on my…WEDDING DAY!!!!! ew!! time for new makeup! way to go Mandy

Oh! That is a great idea Heather! I’ll try the blink thing too! I know, my mascara was over 2 years old! Ahhh!
