Annapolis

Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

I got asked to provide a photo of a vertical scene in Anne Arundel County for a publication. Unfortunately, I don’t shoot landscapes, I shoot people. I sifted through all my old photos and I was able to find some scenes of Annapolis. My girls and I braved the winds today and got a few more shots as well. I hope you enjoy some different angles of our wonderful county!

Emma, Maggie, & Brooke

My sister, Maggie, came for a visit today and we had a blast! She used to live with us for a few months, so my girls act like it’s Christmas whenever they see her and I’m basically chop suey…but hey, what are aunts for? Anyway, Maggie is VERY pregnant and due on November 6th. She’s been wanting some “belly” shots and we had about 15 minutes today to get some quick shots with her and her belly (or Leah Rose). Enjoy, and come back after Nov. 6th for Leah’s world debut!

All because two people fell in love…

The Whole Bunch

The Whole Bunch

My mother-in-law has a saying hanging above a large window frame in her dining room that says, “All because two people fell in love…” Under the saying, and in each pane of the window are 4 pictures of each of her four children growing up. Fast forward to now, 2008. Instead of four lovely children, she has four children, two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, three granddaughters, and a grand baby on the way. That’s thirteen people when we all get together! Sometimes it can get crazy with that many people around, and I won’t deny my recent session with the Roe family was a little “crazy” at times. But the love between them was evident! Thanks to Jack & Colleen (and Maddie) for “buying” me as an anniversary gift for your parents. I so enjoyed my time with your “crazy” family! I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek!

What do you think?

So I see that my blogging site has a new feature – a poll! I guess that’s appropriate with politics permeating the entire nation. So, here’s my poll (sorry for the lack of pictures in this post): Would you like to see a Client Referral Program? This means, that, as a former, current, or future client (i.e. anyone who has booked a session, wedding, or whatever with me), you would receive a discount on any prints if you refer someone to me that also books a session or event. In turn, they, the new client, would receive a discount on their prints as well! Isn’t that SWELL???? So, let me insert this poll. [polldaddy poll=1003845]

Hope that worked!
